What’s this about?

I’m not writing to collect readers or followers or subscribers, and I’m not doing this for money-making purposes. It’s really just an online record of my travels and my interests. It’s a site where friends can find information on places they’re thinking of visiting.

I do not have ANY “affiliate links” on my website. Click anywhere you want: I don’t make any money off any of the links.

If I recommend a place, it’s because I’ve been there, and know that it’s a great place. I’m not one of those “left the business world to travel full-time and make money off a blog” kind of writers you so often see in travel blogs. I just write for me, but if you find something interesting or useful here, that’s great too!
